Muslim Youth League UK is a comprehensive organisation for Muslim youth living in British society. Working in the fields of academia, education, spirituality, social-welfare, multi-cultural and faith-based harmony, to be a fountain of benefit towards a more progressive and peaceful society.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

We want to bring about a comprehensive and multidimensional change in Muslim youth living in the UK society. To achieve this we want to end the academic and ideological decline and deadlock; we want to revive decaying moral and spiritual values of Islam; and we bring reform by guarding against all obstacles and hindrances in social, economical and political life. Our ultimate purpose is to help Muslim youth to achieve an admirable and respectable status in society.

Reformation (Islah) [Reformation of Muslim Youth]
  • Link with Almighty Allah (ta’aluq bi Allah)

  • Remembrance of Allah Most High; Ardent love for Allah Almighty; God Wariness;Obedience to Allah Most High; worship and devotion

  • Connection with The Messenger of Allah (rabt bi al-Risalah)

  • Ardent love for the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him); Obedience and dedicated following of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him); observance of polite manners, and submissiveness for and veneration of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him);; The gnosis of the exalted station of . (Peace Be upon Him); Supporting the (Dīn of the) Holy Prophet; (Peace Be upon Him).

  • Returning towards the Qur’an (ruju ila al-Qur’an)

  • Developing a link with the Holy Qur’ān based on love; Abundant recitation of the Holy Qur’ān; Meditating, contemplating and reflecting on the Holy Qur’ān; Following the commands and the injunctions of the Holy Qur’ān; Preaching the commands and injunctions of the Holy Qur’ān.

  • Consolidation; Da‘wah, preaching and publicity; Reasoning for the true application of the Qur‘ān and Sunnah to modern life; Reviving and promoting Dīn; Attain peace and security; Restoration of Islam‘s identity.

  • Seeking knowledge; Promotion and publication of knowledge; Honouring and practising knowledge; Attaining modern disciplines; Setting up learning associations; awakening awareness and cognizance.

Renaissance (Iqamah) [Uplift of Islamic values]
  • Brotherhood & Fraternity; Love and forbearance; Moral beauty; Protecting and safeguarding human rights (provided by Islam); Mutual help and cooperation; Eschewing sectarianism.

  •  Collective struggle & interests; Consultation and obedience to the leader calling for righteousness; Discipline and organising; Steadfastness; Altruism and sacrifice.
